Contents page

This is the contents page I based mine off, I liked how there was a big picture that was separated from the text to fill up more space.

This is the original picture I chose for my contents page. To edit it I used the clone tool to hide my models imperfections and I used the brightness/contrast to lighten the background of the picture and make my model look more colourful and to stand out more. After I edited the picture I dragged it on to a new page and a sign to say 'contents' for the reader to know it's the contents page.

This is the picture of my second model posing to be the magazine editor. I used the clone stamp to hide any spots she may of had as in maagzines skin needs to look flawless even if it's just a small picture. I also changed the brightness/contrast so her eyes stood out.

Making of my front cover

I added my masthead, which I chose a red background and white writing as this is typical for a rock magazine. I also added the bit at the bottom as I thought it looked good.

I then put more depth in the masthead and added a little grey to make it a little different.

I then changed the background so it would be more white and then I made my model's colour more bright and noticable

I then added 'Luna' and the quote to her name, I made her name big and yellow to stand out on  the front cover.
I then added the stories by the side, my original intention wasn't to put black and white background for the writing but because she had a top with different colours on and the colours I was using I had to so the text was readable.

This was my original final front cover however the 'Luna' sign did not correspond with the rest of the theme so I decided to remove the yellow and black and add more red boxes with white writing to go with the colour scheme, I also removed the grey out of the 'revive' sign as I didn't particularly like it.
