I created a survey on survey monkey so I could find out more about my audience and figure out what they would like in the magazine. To get more responses I posted a link to facebook. The majority of people that answered were female which is what I wanted as my magazine is mainly aimed at females interested in the rock genre. Overall I got 22 responses.
The ages vary from around 14-20 and my main audience is 17/18 so this helped a lot.
My results show that most teenagers do not have a secure job as they will still be at school, which suggests I will have to make the magazine cheap so they can afford it.
This helped me figure out some bands I could possible put on the front cover to attract the audience to the magazine.
I used this question as I am planning on giving away a free gift in my magazine so the audience will be more tempted to buy it.
This gave me an estimate of what to price my magazine
Questioning the audience about the name helped my decision as it gave me an idea of whatthey would like to see on the front cover of the magazine. The option was between storm and revive so I decided on Revive as I personally liked that name better.
